Render inside ChatGPT or Claude
Add 3Dstudio.co once as a connector, then ask for renders, changes and new light in the chat.
- Copy the connector address. It is
https://app.3dstudio.co/api/mcp, the same for both. The page Use it in ChatGPT or Claude has a Copy button. - In Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the address, sign in to your 3Dstudio.co account and choose Allow.
- In ChatGPT: open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced, and turn on Developer mode. Choose Create, paste the address, pick OAuth, then sign in and allow the connection.
- Ask for a render. In ChatGPT, attach your model screenshot to the message. In Claude, ask for a render and use the upload link it gives you: add the screenshot there and tell Claude it is done.
- Keep going in the same chat. Ask for a change, for example make the roof dark metal, ask to see the render at dusk, or ask how many credits you have left.
Good to know
Renders made in ChatGPT or Claude use your normal credits, the same as in the studio, and a failed render is refunded. Free accounts can make 5 renders an hour this way, and paid accounts 20.

Questions
Do I need a paid plan?
No. A free account works, with a lower hourly limit than a paid account.
Claude does not see my screenshot.
Claude cannot pass an attached picture to the connector, so it gives you an upload link. Drop the screenshot there and tell Claude it is done. The link works for a short time, so ask for a new one if it expired.
Where do these renders go?
They belong to your account like any other render, so you can ask for them in the chat later, and the credits come from the same balance.
What if the connector signs out?
Remove the connector and add it again with the same address.
