AI Render Studio by 3Dstudio.co turns a screenshot of a 3D model (SketchUp, Revit, Archicad, Rhino), a sketch, a plan view or an existing render into a photorealistic architectural render. ## Getting started
1. Take a screenshot of any view from SketchUp, Revit, Archicad or Rhino. A plain white model works best. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
2. Upload it in the studio (drop, click or paste). One render works without an account. Sign in for 11 free renders and 11 free fixes.
3. Pick a look (style and light). Optional note up to 400 characters. Looks:
- Exterior: Daylight (ext-daylight), Evening sun (ext-evening), Dusk (ext-dusk), Overcast (ext-overcast), Brick and stone (ext-brick-stone), Timber and render (ext-timber-render), Concrete and metal (ext-concrete-metal), Winter (ext-winter), Night (ext-night)
- Interior: Scandinavian (scandi), Warm contemporary (warm-contemporary), Industrial loft (industrial), Minimal gallery (minimal-gallery), Hotel and restaurant (hospitality), Retail and showroom (retail), Modern office (office)
- Landscape: Garden and landscape (land-garden), Aerial daylight (aerial-day), Aerial golden hour (aerial-golden)
4. Pick Standard (5 credits, fast, for trying options) or HD (10 credits, the photographic version for clients). A render takes about 20 seconds.
5. Versions: Studio makes up to 2 versions of one view at a time, Max up to 4. Each costs credits; a failed version is refunded.
6. Keep areas: brush over parts of the screenshot that must stay exactly as they are (TV screen, window view, sign, logo). No extra credits. Single renders only.
7. Under the result: Change this render (type what should change; 5 credits Standard, 10 HD), Fix this area (brush one area, up to 4 areas cost one fix; 5 Standard, 10 HD), Relight (dusk, golden, night, overcast, winter, summer, rain; 10 credits), Video (5 seconds, 45 credits; moves: Drift left, Drift right, Push in, Pull back, Orbit, Rise; 10 seconds on Max, 90 credits), Download (4K PNG for paid accounts, 2 credits, once per render).
8. Free renders carry a small 3Dstudio.co mark. Any purchase removes it, makes renders twice as large and unlocks 5-second videos. Failed jobs are refunded.

## ChatGPT and Claude
Connector address: https://app.3dstudio.co/api/mcp (remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in with your 3Dstudio.co account, no API key needed).
- Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the address, sign in, Allow. Claude cannot pass an attached picture, so it gives an upload link (valid 15 minutes); drop the screenshot there and tell Claude it is done.
- ChatGPT: Settings, Apps and Connectors, Advanced, turn on Developer mode, Create, paste the address, choose OAuth, sign in and allow. Attach the screenshot to the message; ChatGPT passes it to the connector.
- Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http 3dstudio-render https://app.3dstudio.co/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" (paid account key).
Tools:
- render_screenshot: Makes a photorealistic render from a screenshot of a 3D model view, a sketch, a plan view or an existing render. The building geometry stays as drawn. Takes 20 to 120 seconds. A render that fails is refunded. Arguments: Send the picture in exactly one of: image_file (ChatGPT only, the picture attached to the chat), upload_id (from start_upload), image_url (public https link, JPG, PNG or WebP, under 10 MB) or image_data (base64, small pictures only). Optional: look (see list_looks, default ext-daylight), notes (up to 400 characters), quality (standard or hd, default standard). Cost: 5 credits (Standard) or 10 credits (HD).
- start_upload: Returns a one-time link, valid for 15 minutes, to a page on app.3dstudio.co where you drop the screenshot. Use it in Claude, and in any chat that cannot pass an attached picture to a tool. Arguments: None. It returns upload_url and upload_id. After you say the upload is done, the assistant calls render_screenshot with the upload_id (valid for 2 hours, one render). Cost: No credits.
- change_render: Changes something in a finished render, described in words, for example make it 4 floors or add plants around the house. Everything not mentioned stays as it is. Takes 20 to 90 seconds. A change that fails is refunded. Arguments: render_id (from render_screenshot or list_renders), instruction (3 to 500 characters), optional quality (standard or hd). Cost: 5 credits with quality standard, otherwise 10 credits (HD).
- relight: Shows the same render in other light or weather. Presets: dusk, golden, night, overcast, winter, summer, rain. The building stays as it is. If the new light would move the building, the result is discarded and the credits are refunded. Arguments: render_id, preset. Cost: 10 credits.
- list_looks: Lists the 19 looks (style and light) with id, name and group. The ids go in the look field of render_screenshot. Arguments: None. Cost: No credits.
- get_credits: Shows how many credits the account has left and what one Standard render, HD render, change and relight cost. Arguments: None. Cost: No credits.
- list_renders: Lists the account's newest renders with render_id, look and image link, including renders made in the studio. Arguments: Optional limit, 1 to 50, default 10. Cost: No credits.
- get_render: Looks up one render by its render_id: status and image link. Arguments: id. Cost: No credits.
Limits: 20 renders, changes and relights an hour for paid accounts, 5 an hour for free accounts that never paid. One render per request. JPG, PNG or WebP under 10 MB. Image links must be public https. Failed jobs are refunded.
Troubleshooting: no picture received, use start_upload (Claude) or attach to the same message (ChatGPT) or send a public link. Upload link expired, ask for a new one. Out of credits, buy at https://app.3dstudio.co/pricing. Hourly limit, wait. Connector signed out, remove and add again.
Disconnect: remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT; token revocation is supported at /oauth/revoke. Access tokens last 1 hour, refresh tokens 30 days. Revoke API keys at https://app.3dstudio.co/account/api.
The connector can start renders and changes on your account and see your list of renders, using your credits.

## API
API keys are for paid accounts (a plan or a credit pack). Create and revoke at https://app.3dstudio.co/account/api. Keys start with tds_live_, are shown once and stored hashed. 10 active keys per account, 10 new keys a day. Send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY.
- POST /api/v1/render: Make a render. Paid accounts only. Multipart (field image) or JSON (image_url). Fields: look, notes (up to 400 characters), quality (standard or hd), lock (locked, balanced, loose), input (untextured, textured, render), materials (keep, restyle), seed. The call returns when the render is done, which can take up to about two minutes.
- GET /api/v1/renders?limit=10: Your newest renders, limit 1 to 50.
- GET /api/v1/renders/{id}: Status and image link of one render.
- GET /api/v1/looks: The values the look field accepts. Public, no key needed.
Errors: 400 bad input, 401 key missing or invalid, 402 out of credits, 403 not a paid account, 415 wrong file type or over 10 MB, 429 too many renders (Retry-After header), 503 unavailable.
Rate limits: REST 20 renders per 10 minutes per account. MCP 20 an hour (paid), 5 an hour (free).
MCP server: https://app.3dstudio.co/api/mcp. Changing and relighting a render are MCP tools, not REST endpoints.

## Plans and credits
Costs in credits: Standard render 5; HD render 10; change 5 (Standard) or 10 (HD); fix 5 (Standard) or 10 (HD); relight 10; video 5 s 45; video 10 s 90 (Max); 4K download 2.
Plans (credits each month, seats): Pro 500, 1 seat; Studio 1500, 3 seats; Max 3000, 5 seats. Yearly billing is 10 months for the price of 12. Credit packs are one-off. Credits never expire, including after you cancel. Team members spend the owner's credits and share a gallery. 10-second videos are on Max. Client review links come with Pro and up.
Refunds: if you have not used any credits, ask within 14 days of payment and it is refunded. Once you use credits there is no refund. Applies to plans and packs.

## Client reviews
Pro and up. Pick up to 50 renders in My renders, set a title and expiry (7, 30, 90 days or never), copy the link. The client opens it without an account, enters a name, comments (optionally pinned to a spot) and marks each render Approved or Request changes. You see comments and approvals in My renders and get an email (at most one every 10 minutes). Stop sharing ends a link. The page is not indexed.

## Privacy and data
Stored: email, plan, credits, uploaded pictures, renders with settings and notes, review comments. Hashes only for API keys and OAuth tokens. Processing: pictures and instructions go to fal.ai. Storage: private Supabase Storage bucket; database in Supabase; payments by Stripe; email by Resend. Analytics and ad tags load only after consent where required. Renders stay until deleted; deleting hides the render and its share link at once, file clean-up is separate. Delete account data: write to hello@3dstudio.co.
